The QA document register, filled in before you start.
Every document each machine on a data-center or industrial job owes, at each phase, and who usually supplies it. Generated from the same defaults Veristep builds a project’s register from, so it is the real list — not a sample.
- 23 equipment types. UPS, generators, switchgear, ATS, PDUs, busway, transformers, CRAH/CRAC, chillers, cooling towers, CDUs, pumps, AHUs, fire alarm, sprinklers, clean agent, BMS, EPMS, structured cabling, seismic bracing, housekeeping pads.
- 35 document types. From the submittal and factory test report through receiving, installation, testing, commissioning, O&M, as-builts, training and warranty.
- 598 requirement rows. Every document each type owes at each lifecycle phase, marked mandatory or not, with who usually supplies it — the subcontractor, the manufacturer, the testing agency, the CxA.
- The working columns. Status (required → requested → received → reviewed → approved), requested on, received on, reference, notes. Sort by Status and you have the chase list.

What the spreadsheet cannot do is refuse: a cell can say approved with nothing behind it. That is the difference between a register and a record, and it is why Veristep exists. When the sheet stops being enough, the same register imports straight in — how it works.
