Buying Veristep
The contract questions, answered plainly.
What procurement asks after the demo. Where the honest answer is “in a program agreement” or “not yet”, it says that.
- Support
- Email, Monday to Friday, with a reply within one business day. A program agreement can name a faster target and a named contact. There is no phone queue and we do not pretend there is.
- Implementation
- A firm can be running its first project the day it signs up: the trial is the platform. The setup call (twenty minutes) seeds your discipline's templates and your first project. Importing an existing job is a CSV upload for rooms, people and machines, then the adoption sweep against the prior firm's manifest. A program rollout across several firms and sites is planned with us and written into the agreement.
- Contract paper
- The published terms of service and privacy policy cover the list-price plan. A customer or program agreement adds an MSA, a DPA and, where required, an SLA and an NDA. We sign yours or ours.
- Invoicing
- Platform fee monthly (or annually, two months free) in advance; project fees monthly in arrears for the months a project was active; net thirty. Card processing is not built yet — invoices are paid by bank transfer or check.
- Data residency
- Database, files and authentication on Supabase in AWS us-east-2 (Ohio); application on Vercel. Nothing stored outside the United States. Subprocessors are listed on the security page and you are told before the list changes.
- Uptime
- No uptime percentage is published or promised at list price; availability follows Vercel and Supabase, whose status pages are public. A written SLA is part of a program agreement.
- Security review
- Send your questionnaire. We answer every line from the readiness register — proven, built, opt-in, or not yet — and walk your reviewer through the code under agreement. No SOC 2 report exists today; the register says what is and is not in place.
- Ownership of the record
- Yours. Every record as CSV and every file leave as one archive on demand. We do not sell it, train on it, or show it to another customer.
- Leaving
- Cancel any time; the current paid term is not refunded. The workspace goes read-only, you have ninety days to export everything, and after two notices the tenant is closed. The append-only audit spine stays sealed and unreachable rather than deleted, by design.
- Handover
- A firm can hand a finished site to its owner inside the platform. The owner accepts under named terms and becomes the customer for that site; the firm keeps its sealed history. Written into the terms.
