How do I update my name, phone, email or password?
Profile is your own account, kept current by you; what each organization lets you do lives under My access.
Profile is the one page that is yours alone: your name, phone and address, the email you sign in with, and your password. Nobody edits it for you, and nothing on it reaches anyone else's record. What each organization lets you do — the roles you hold, the projects you are on — is a different thing, granted by an administrator and shown under My access, not changed here.
Your details is the name your colleagues see on every sign-off, and where to reach you. Change what needs changing and save. Each save is noted on your account's activity, so a later question about when a name or a number changed has an answer.
Email is the address you sign in with. To change it, enter the new one; a confirmation goes to both the current address and the new one, and the change takes effect only after both are opened. Until then you keep signing in with the old address. Once the sign-in email has moved, the page notices that your record still shows the old one and offers a single click to bring it in line, so invitations and notices reach the right place.
Password asks for the one you use now first, then the new one twice — twelve characters or more; a short sentence you will remember works well. A wrong current password counts as a failed sign-in, the same as at the front door. Other devices stay signed in until they next need to sign in.
Lost it altogether? Sign out and use Forgot your password? on the sign-in screen. A reset link goes to your sign-in email; it works once and for one hour, and you can open it on any device. The reply on screen is the same sentence whether or not the address has an account.
Two-factor auth and My access each have their own page, one door away from Profile.
