How do I handle seasonal tests and owner training?

Some tests can't be proven the day the equipment is set. Heating needs cold weather, and a chilled-water plant needs load. Record the deferral under Closeout → Deferred tests with what it is waiting for, who on the owner's side agreed, and the window it can be run in. It counts as done only when the check run against it closes with its evidence. Near the end of the warranty year, schedule the walk; it defaults to ten months after the first warranty started, and anything it finds becomes a deficiency.

Owner training works the same way. List the systems the spec requires training on and the hours for each under Closeout → Owner training, hold the sessions, and sign people in on the tablet or on the printed sheet. Closeout shows training complete once every system has its hours and signed attendees.

Nothing here is thrown away. A cancelled deferral, a retired requirement or a struck signature stays on the record with the reason.
