Can I track special inspections and materials testing?

List the job's special inspections under Inspections → Special inspections: concrete, reinforcing steel, welding, high-strength bolting, soils, masonry, fireproofing and anchors, each with its code or spec reference, whether it is continuous or periodic, and who inspects it. Inspectors log their field reports against each line with photos.

A report marked nonconforming opens a deficiency straight away. The report reads resolved only once that deficiency is closed with its fix, so nobody can mark it resolved by hand.

For materials testing, log each sample set, such as the cylinders from a pour, with the required strength and the age it is judged at. The break schedule shows which breaks are due, overdue, passed or failed. Each result is compared with the requirement by the system, not typed in as a pass, and a failing result at the acceptance age opens a deficiency.
